The ECON committee focuses on the regulation of financial services, the free movement of capital and payments, taxation and competition policies, oversight of the European Central Bank, and the international financial system. Further, we work on the expansion and improvement of the EU internal market by reducing administrative burden and enhance cooperation within the EU.

My focus in the ECON committee is to combat the current inflationary tendencies that affect households and businesses and create a healthy regulated environment for our SMEs to thrive.

INTA works on trade-relations of the EU with countries all around the globe and on instruments and tools improving the EU’s internal market. Free trade agreements are essential to ensure the necessary supply of critical raw material, so that we can move forward on our path to a more ecologically sustainable European Union. 

As EPP shadow rapporteur, I especially focus on the establishing of a customs union code and a customs union authority, ensuring the strengthening of the EU internal market.

ENVI is the largest committee in the European Parliament. We work on topics such as food security, air and water quality, the use of chemicals and pesticide. 

My focus lies on creating comprehensive, pragmatic and coherent legal frameworks to protect public health, the environment and our economy. My aim is it to participate in the creation of sustainable but realistic regulations that leave no one behind while at the same time guarantee a liveable future for next generations.
